I sure hope not. He isn't ready, and the fact that Risebrough was stupid enough to trade away our top prospect for Grandpa Demitra doesn't change a thing about his development level.

Of course, with a ****ing idiot like Risebrough calling the shots, I suppose the kid probably will make the team this year. And spend the whole goddamned season napping in the press box, like the Wild have done with every other prospect who wasn't ready. Unless the stupid ***** trade him to Carolina for the rights to Gordie Howe, which I wouldn't bet against at this point.

Pouliot making the Wild lineup after just one game in the AHL? Unless he pulls some really impressive stuff in training camp that makes the whole world take notice, he should be down with the Aeros.

he'd better be with the aeros! we've already lost our leading scorer to europe and sully to l.a. (though i think he would have been with minnesota anyway next season)! plus, i think volo's got a good shot to be with the big club this year.

i liked what i saw of pouliot the one playoff game i saw him in, and hope the wild give him a full year to develop in the ahl.

I think it might be the opposite...they maybe can afford to take it a little slower with another proven scorer added.

Not a lock but he did have a good camp last year and if he has a good camp this year, I think you'll see him occasionally centering or playing wing with Demitra and Gaborik but I think Koivu and him could be paired up.

Did Minnesota already announce that they wouldn't resign him?
