ROFLMAO!! I had to quote that just to admire its troll-like qualities...very admirable!
How is troll like. This team will be a joke until Ted sells the team. You have guys looking the team just killed their best friend when they get picked by the Caps.
I knew this would happen as soon as I saw the look on his face. If everyone just boycotts caps games until Ted sells the team we could get a real owner and a real gm in here and players might actually want to play for the team.

Just look at your quote...I mean that is just making up stuff and on top of that it is obvious you are trying to get a reaction... Of course a good troll is hard to feret out which is why I said your post was troll-like and not accusing you of being a troll since it can subjective and hell for all anyone knows YOU could be Ted himself, heh. And just to get everyone up to speed on trolling...
Quote:
There is a quote on IMDb which says that the common troll does not understand the words 'opinion' and 'leave', meaning that it feels it has superior opinions and will not quit until reaching its own trolling satisfaction.[citation needed] Experienced participants in online forums know that the most effective way to discourage a troll is usually to ignore him or her, because responding encourages a true troll to continue disruptive posts to that forum — hence the often-seen warning "Please do not feed the troll", for which PDNFTT is a common initialism. Posting this warning publicly, in reply to a troll's behavior to discourage further replies, may discourage the troll. However, it can also have the reverse effect, becoming itself food for the troll. Therefore, when a forum participant sees an apparently innocent answer to a troll as potential troll food, it may be more prudent to deliver the "Please do not feed the troll" warning in a private message to the respondent (e.g., by email, or to the respondent's wiki Talk page).

My dog thinks this way, too - see, he wants a new owner, too. Apparently, the AC in the summer, heat in the winter, free food and water, and a place to stay got to be too much. I can tell this because I see it in his face. I've had to put him in his cage a few times while I cleaned up the house.
Perhaps he thinks pooping on the floor will make me sell him to my next door neighbors - afterall, all the neighborhood dogs like them...
Guess the Blues wasted their pick because Johnson elected to play in college (college!) rather than the NHL.
Well in a year when Johnson is playing in the NHL and Backstrom is still in Sweden you will realize it was a wasted pick for the Caps and not for the blues.
But weren't you the one who called me an idiot when I said a year ago that Halpern would leave the team after the season because he can't wait to get off the team??
Said Halpern would never leave the caps he was born here..hometown boy..

atomic...
first, anyone with half a brain and the ability to read should of known that Backstrom wasn't going to be in the NHL this season. We all may of hoped (just like McPhee) but we all should have known he wasn't coming.
second, he is prob 50/50 to be here next year. Considering he has said twice now since being drafted that he wants to play in Swedan another year or two and that he doesn't wanted to come over until he is 20.
and 3rd, everyone knew that there was a good chance Halpern wasn't coming back. Once again some may have hoped he would, but everyone knew there was a good chance he wouldn't. And it isn't because he wanted out. It was because the Caps knew they didn't need him, and therefore were never going to give him market value. That is why he left the team, because he had better deals from better teams and wasn't fully wanted by the team he was currently on.
Halpern got a phat deal...not blaming him for taking it. Just another damned if you do damned if you don't from the negative nillys. I'm sure if the caps signed Halpern with that big a deal the same voice would be complaining..."Oh we have a bunch of younger players that can replace him!" blah blah blah.
