I think Mark Howe is the best defenceman not in the HHOF, and I think it's a blight that he hasn't been inducted. However, before Mark Howe is added, we need to add the player who, for decades, was the best player not in the HHOF: Canada's best athlete from the first half of the 20th century, Lionel "The Big Train" Conacher.

I won't argue Howe over Conacher, but Howe was better than Langway.

Fetisov is too low imo. He was considered the 'bobby orr' of soviet hockey, he was that good.

Agreed. Fetisov is easily top 5. Maybe higher.
