Really? I actually thought he'd stick around. Oh well we have enough depth at that position. At least we never have to hear Pierre Dagenais name again... unless he has a night with Nicole Ritchie

Also was in the gazette this morning.

Also im not sure if its normal but the rest of the RFA's got qualifying offers. Each had 0-10% raises. Is that a fair margin?

I think that is more or less what people expected. About the only one that might be a bit of a suprise is Michaud but I guess with the younger guys pushing there was no more room.

Danis was qualified, we could put to bed once and for all the thinking that he is a UFA.

That explains the Loic Lacasse signing. Does it mean we might be seeing some AHL action for Leino-Lindberg?(If of course Danis is in the NHL)

No Heino resigned in the SEL. I don't know what they plan for Danis, but I'm assuming Danis-Halak in Hamilton, Price and Lacasse back in the CHL and Heino in the SEL. Maybe they will invite a goalie to camp, say like a josh tordjman to get someone for the ECHL.

There were also mentions that people are not sure if he would have to clear wavers if he is sent down or starts in the AHL....

I'm pretty happy with the players who received qualifying offers from Gainey. Heard it today on the team 990. Does anyone have the entire list of players we gave qualifying offers to though

0-10% raise is what a qualifying offer requires. It's something like 10% for players who made 660,000 or less, 5% for 660,001 to 1,000,000 and even salary for more than that (my numbers might be slightly off).

Yes it's normal that the rest of the RFAs got offers. If we don't qualify them, they become UFAs.
