Oskars Bartulis traded [in CHL]

To Moncton: 34th overall euro pick, 2nd and 7th rd picks in 2007 Midget Draft

To Cape Breton: Bartulis

A lot to give up...but Bartulis will play in CB next year.

LOL. Misleading, I thought you meant from the Flyers not in the minors. Sounds like quite a bit but not really sure. How is Bartulis fairing in his development? I haven't seen him play but have heard his name more over the past month or so....

He played well for Moncton last season. I wouldnt say he is a lock to be signed next summer..but his development has been upward since he was picked. He will get a chance to play 25 mins a night with Cape Breton.

What are the ramifications of this trade? Is Cape Breton supposed to be good next year? Is Moncton supposed to suck next year?

Moncton is going into rebuild mode from what I've read. Cape Brenton is a contender.

CB will be mid-pack. They have 1 good scoring line, a wicked goaltender (Pavelec) and a very young in-experienced defensive crew, hense the reason for the Bartulis deal.

Almoust, just make the A in surname sound longer, like BAARTULIS.
