Hunter was a worthy flyer at 174.
He looked quite good in his rookie year but followed that up with 2 seasons where he showed little developement in his game. Then last season he took a leap forward and impressed once again. The Cougars have been a mediocre team for a long time and it almost seems like its good enough. It could be he fell into a "mediocre is ok" comfort zone.Hopefully his next stop is somewhere that pushes the players hard and places a strong emphasis on success. Two things i dont think Thompson/Lubiniecki(GM) and coach Vandekamp and Lambert before him did enough of.I think Hunter would benefit from being in an ultra-competetive environment.
Maybe i'm a little harsh on the Cougars GM/coaches/players but when you leave home for a game at 3:30pm and dont make it home until 2am you expect them to put as much effort into playing the game as you did in attending it.

Anyway,good luck Eric.
