If you had a gun on the head.. what would be your pick to upgrade the habs lineup?

Mine would be Roenick. He is mean and bring energy, show lots of determination and sure got skills.. not the same as before but still good skills.

Roenick, the other 2 have nothing to offer, even when healthy.

As much as I like Allison and occasionally Roenick, it's gotta be Lindros here.

That said, I don't expect any of the three.

Roenick and this is without the gun....The guy has an agenda, you can't hope for a better reason to hire him.....

Definitely JR for me.

Allison is the best of the three offensively, but he's sooo slow.
Lindros I just don't want around this team, and I doubt he wants to be here either.

Roenick has the most potential upside of the three IMO, and I've always liked the guy.

None of them. Status quo and play the kids. We all complain because the habs take ages to bring their prospects in showtime. Just let them play.

none,

this obsession with big centerman is kinda getting on my nerves

how many 'big centerman' did the oilers have to make the finals? the sabres to make the conference finals?

Lindros and Allison are slow as hell and way past their prime. As much as I enjoy JR's singing and dancing ability, he wouldn't bring much to this team (perhaps leadership, but what did his experience get the Kings last season?) either.

I'd rather we stick it out with Ribs (I want to see what Carbs can do with him, mike does have a lot of raw talent and i have an inking that under the right tutelage he might break out). Or make a trade for a guy like Lang who would be a great centerman for us. Not because he's 'big' but because he's talented and can create tremendous scoring opportunities.

I understand that a guy like Briere will become an UFA next season, so why not go with ribs/lang this season..and try to attain briere next year? He's the perfect player for the new NHL and he'd accomodate the speed and general youth of the team rather well.

No reason to get desperate now and try to sign over-the-hill vets just for the sake of making a splash in the ufa market. Play it smart, play the kids who'd probably do much better and at a cheaper rate.

I think we have enough kids coming up at one time as it is, so I'd take JR, hopefully to replace Ribeiro who isn't really a kid anymore anyway. IMO Plekanec isn't ready for the 2nd line center spot as yet.

Thats nice, we have a guy here who would rather die than simply pick a player! If you can't answer the question... stay away from the thread!!!!

seriously, all 3 of these guys are injury prone...and we'd probably do better with chipchura and grabovsky (even if they produce less PointsPerGame) as they'd end up playing more games.

I'd rather take slug in my head, and give 2nd line center job to Plekanec, thank you.

Lindros and Allison both took one year deals last year. Roenick has stated he only wants a one year deal.

If they don't work we can still do your plan next year.
