Stanley's secret leaks out 43 years later

A Copenhagen artist played a key, and unheralded, role in duplicating Canada's most famous sports trophy. Little did he know the replica would become the one used in celebrations.

it appears the last team to hoist what was the real Stanley Cup was the Maple Leafs, who won it in 1963, a year before they won the replica. The Leafs also won the real Cup in 1962.

Yep the HHOF is where to go if you want to see the origional Stanley Cup and old bands that have been taken off.

I believe there are a couple of repica Stanley Cups I know there is one that stays at the HHOF year round. + the one used for on ice celebrations for the players.

PS. Do you know how cool it would be if you could buy a replica Stanley Cup

This article is ridiculous. . . This is no "secret" at all... Since the Hockey Hall of Fame opened, in June of 1993, the original bowl has been on display in the upstairs vault of the old bank building that houses the trophies and the Cup itself.

Meanwhile this bozo author "breaks" the story that the bowl on top of the Cup isn't the original one that Lord Stanely bequeathed.. Gee thanks, we've always known that. And the NHL isn't ever trying to hide that fact - afterall the Hockey Hall of Fame has prominently exhibited the original trophy for 13 years now for the public to see.
