They're going to have to compete for spots. It seems to me that DL isn't just going to make 2 or 3 roster spots reserved for some kids. If guys like Tukonen, Kopitar even O'Sullivan are going to make the team it will be on their merit

We didn't want Frolov to start in Manchester, he never went there, and it didn't impede his development.

One can argue that at his current age Anze is a better overall player than Fro anyway. I think a year in the SEL is on par with Frolov's days in the RSL.

I think Anze will make the team because he will be one of the best players on the roster. We don't have enough talent to field a club as it stands right now anyway.

Didn't you hear? Frolov sucks and is a bust at age 23. If only he went to Manchester, where the past few seasons they've been taught how to be true champions!

Think its better to just hope that the youth we have now can be turned into something good then "rebuilding" every couple of years or so. Besides we havn't really waited long enough to see if the guys we have now are going to be anything....

Most top three picks are ready in two years.

If we are able to lock up our young guys like we did Frolov, then that won't be a problem.

Last entry for the archives, I guess... this is the player profile on Brian Willsie from my Caps site, with some past contract information and other tidbits. Thought it might come in handy.

Good player. Not the most talent in the world, but he hustles and has tons of heart. Good in the room and a solid utility player.
