Higgins is a lot skilled and he's one of my favorite prospects cause he have a lot of hearts and play with grit and determination all that plus great skill makes him a good prospects but Koivu is IMO simply better now.
Higgins it was clear in the last WJC and from what i've seen at the Habs training camp . The American team wasen't good except of few srtong idividuals player like Higgins and Nystrom . Higgins was always on the ice in every situation and looked better than anyone on the ice .
his works after his 1st AHL game :
''I feel good out there , i feel like i could had scored 5 goals tonight '' He only scored 1...
In terms of offensive upside, I'd go with Mikko Koivu. Obviously, I think Higgins will be a very reliable two-way forward, though, with fairly good offensive numbers. It's hard to say at this point, eventhough Mikko is rated higher than Christopher is most prospect rankings.
