Blackhawks owner Wirtz and salary arbitration

he doesnt view it very positively and these 5 players may have just crossed the sheet line

Chicago Blackhawks

Mark Bell
Kyle Calder
Mikael Holmqvist
Jim Vandermeer
Radim Vrbata

anyone intrested in making a deal with any of the above mentioned players ? . if history repeats itself these boys are going on a greyhound in a diffrent uniform

I've been saying for ages now that I want Bell and Vandermeer, and I would accept Calder as well. But what we would have to give up for those guys, who knows. They should all get nice returns.

There's not a whole lot of players I'd be willing to send Ryder for, but Bell is one of them.

Bell for sure but I truly think Calder is a real leader and a Fisher-Draper type of player that I would love to have. Even though he's not big, he's needed.

Bell and Calder for Ryder and ?????

Not as a center, no.

I'd take him over Ribeiro in our lineup for sure, though.

for a powerforward, bell hasn't shown much 'power' in his game considering his highest point total in the NHL has been a putrid 48. he's One of the more overrated players, that's for sure. Sad thing is, some of you guys would be willing to give up players like ryder, perezhogin and kostitsyn to attain him.

vandermeer, now that's a player that intrigues me.

If they trade them because they ask for arbitration , they won't trade them for another player that ask the same think in Ryder ... be logic !

kyle calder got 11 more points, more goals and a way better +/- in 3 less games.

the mighty tyler arnason had 41 points in 60 games (if he played with the hawks for all 82 games he would have been on pace to hit 56 points)...the same arnason that did absolutely jack for the senators.

or how about radim vrbata? he had 34 points in 45 games...was on pace to hit 62 points.

shall i stop?

did these players did not put up better numbers than your beloved mark bell on the same CHICAGO BLACKHAWKS?

I'd trade for either Bell or Calder if Shanahan doesn't sign. I'd offer Souray, maybe Zednik if Chicago added a draft pick.

Bell and Calder would be the most interesting parts ....but I wouldn't send Ryder in the deal with him. We need to add scoring , not exchange 1 for another.
