How about Mike Leclerc?

I dunno if he'd be a good fit with us but I was wondering if he had any upside? He's only 29 and still unsigned.

I like his style of play, it depends who mgmt. has in mind for the 3rd and 4th lines.

Well, let wait after Shanahan, if he sign somewhere else ba maybe, he would be a nice fit on our 3rd line i think

I think that if we are going to sign a forward, it should be for a sure-fire 1st or high-level 2nd line winger with experience. Any 'filler forwards' would just be taking space away from perezhogin/kostitsyn/grabovsky/latendress/etc...

he is pretty slow, but a power forward that could play on the 2nd or 3rd line

would be very usefull

I used to like LeClerc, but now it seems like he has either lost a step, or maybe just the league has gained a step around him? But it's not just that, I don't think he's playing with the edge he used to back in his early days with the Ducks. A slowish power forward who can't hit anymore because he's too brittle is a bit of an oxymoron as a player type. I think we have enough options for our bottom lines, and I don't think he's capable of doing the job on a higher line anymore.

Wouldn't be an upgrade over what we already have.

Exactly, I'm just tired of talking about guys that we don't know which part of him we will get. Would it be the Ducks Leclerc, or the Flames one? Would it be the Arnoot last season guy, or the inconsistent one? Why can't we get a player with a minimum risk???? We have so many questions marks right now as far as rookies are concerned, I don't think we need another question mark, I would prefer an exclamation mark instead...
