He would be a good player to have, like him in a specific role. But for those players it now comes to which place would he be taken??? And there's just no room for him.

There is room for him IMO. Playes like Ferland and Lapierre aren't fully ready for an 82 gameschedual in the NHL. I think we can use at least one more botthom 6 vet. We can't fill our line-up with rookies.

The thing for me is, I don't want to see any of Murray, Begin, Bonk, Ferland, or Lapierre (or Aubin) on the third line this year. Murray and Begin are ideal fourth liners, and Bonk will have to prove that he can bounce back if he wants promotion. Ferland and Lapierre might become third liners with time, but I don't believe they're ready for that just yet.

Our bottom 6 could look something like this:

XXX - Plekanec - Perezhogin
Murray - Bonk - Begin

The Zednik - Plekanec - Perezhogin third line of last year's playoffs clicked pretty well, so I wouldn't mind seeing that again. However, if Zednik won't accept playing on a "third line", then it would have to be someone else, but I would want a more offensive player than a fourth line type of guy.

In fact, that may help Petrovicky.

Murray -- Plekanec -- Perezhogin was a very good line down the stretch. Between Plekanec and Perezhogin, I'm not sure that a checking/two-way line needs even more offence. It seems to me that a defensive-minded banger completes it.
