I'm confused...

What in the hell are the statuses(sp?) of Armstong and Dempsey? I know lakings.com has said Dempsey is gone. So I'll trust that, but why do the following websites list their info as much?

Kings FA's according to:

TSN-Derek Armstrong, C, 33; Valeri Bure, RW, 32; Nathan Dempsey, D, 32.

Sportsnet-F - Derek Armstrong, 33; F - Valeri Bure, 32.

ESPN-Valeri Bure, Nathan Dempsey, Steve Kelly, Jan Nemecek, Brad Smyth, Marty Wilford, Ryan Flinn, Brad Fast, Adam Hauser, Connor James.

NHLPA has both Armstrong and Dempsey as being signed.

Armstrong and Dempsey were both "option" players......I believe that it was already stated that Dempsey's option was not picked up. Maybe TSN has information that neither players options were picked up. The NHLPA site is usually the last to update this type of info.

Armstrong is still on the roster at lakings.com, but then again so is Valerie Bure and Ryan Flinn. They did remove Roenick, Corvo and Dempsey this week and have added all the new players.

So, I can declare with certainly that I have no idea what this means.

Derek Armstrong, He hit the amount of points needed to secure his option year. The Kings can buy him out, or put him on Waivers. D:

Let's hope for waivers, maybe he'll be traded and we'll get something back in return.
