Expect the unexpected. Beside we have to sign him before the Ribeiro-Zednik package can apply to all those trades!

no mention on rds yet guess we will have to explain them on the talkback that grabovsky is really a nice signing.

I mean they learn hockey by listening to J. Demers wisdom ¨Higgins will never be a great offensive threat¨... he and they dont know jack about our prospects.

I like Demers tought.. he got my respect!

Its not that important on the hab team.

Perezhogin<---Comprehension, progressing.
Kovalev<---Fluent
Markov<---Getting Better, Quite Fluent
Kostitsyn<----?
Grabovski<---?

It would be 5 russian speaking, nice little gang too. We might have the surprise that Emelin will be signed too. I wish Kovy will give him a call and say: "Yo dude! Come play with me, we need your hard body checks over here!, Come on!"

Great just what we need another highly skilled small forward that doesnt like physical play. Hard for me to get too excited.

Grabo played center at the world championship, so I think his most likely position is beating Ribeiro at camp. Z is gone, he wont be at camp. Kostitsyn spot is clinched imo, that makes Grabo presence more likely with the already established chemistry between the 2. He is a natural LW, that can play all forward positions.

Russian prospect now reporting he signed a 2 way, 3 years entry! Great news. He will be in hamilton and do the yoyo.

He can at least speak a little bit of english, enough to joke with his teammates on the bench in hamilton last year. There were a few occassions that the camera would show him chatting to the guy sitting next to him and having a laugh and i would assume by now that he has a reasonable understanding and use of hockey terminology in english.

As for Grabovsky, glad to hear he has signed. Whether he plays in the NHL or AHL next year, im looking forward to seeing him in action.

With Perz and Kost and now possibly Grabo, two things come to mind. Even if they still cant break into the top 2 lines, If I were Pleks I would have a smile a mile wide.

Last year, Bulis/Pleks/Zednick
This year, Prez Pleks Kost or Grabo Pleks Kost.
I don't care what anyone says, that a big upgrade for the 3rd line.
Mush more dangerous, much more skilled.

We didn't signed any free agent and it's alright like that because I'm pretty sure Bob Gainey believes that one of Perezhogin, the two Kostitsyn and Grabovski will become a great top 6 winger in a near future...add to those 4 Russian Latendresse and you most likely have at least two good winger for your future.

I doubt it. Everyone on that team was involved with it on a daily and had invested a lot of themselves into that team. So to see someone struggle out there wouldn't elicit laughter, more a bury head in their hands kinda response.
