Are you kidding? Where did you hear he was going to sign. as a leaf fan, I hope you do sign him, because it will likely garauntee you won't make the playoffs. he is far removed from the great leader he once was. he is a cancer. Good Luck!

It's actually owned by a lot of NHLers, not only Tucker and Corson.

Signing Corson would be very stupid. Hes already proved that hes done in Toronto. What would the point of signing him be? I cant believe he hasnt retired.

Corson sucks. I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's not Wendel Clark so lets not bring him back for a 3rd stint.

I'd take corson over dackell and sundstrom anyday. He can shadow a good player with the best of them, and not just that, he adds an element of toughness to a team, something the Habs have gotten better at, but could use a tad more of. Plus I bet he pots just as many pucks in the net as both dacks and sundstrom.

In his day maybe. But he is expensive, over-rated, has a medical condition and is an egomaniac. Hey I would rather Doug Risebrough, but he too is over the hill. As for toughness, picking on lightweights and holding on in a fight isn't toughness. That demotivates more then anything else.

Sundstrom was once considered an elite defensive forward. He has fallen on hard time, and a team stacked with aging vets, who have become "defensive specialists" now that they can no longer score consistantly (read: Juneau). Just remember the WJC, when Forsberg, Naslund and Sundstrom made the best line ever in that tournement. What can you say about Corson, that he is an elite clutch and grabber?

In any case, any can play defensively if they give the effort. No need for this expensive chump.

OK, I was staying away from this one, but now I have this to say.

Shayne Corson has always been one of my fav Habs for many reasons. He has problems...YES, & I guess more people are finding out about the Mogilny thing...he has his reputation sure, but he gave the Habs some good hockey!

Do not compare scrappy players to him (Dackell). He is not the best player, but please do not talk like he has hands like Turner Stevenson, or a slow skater like Brian Skrudland! Corson knew how to score, & stir up some **** on the ice!

You don't know?

Just kidding :p

Well, I like Shayne, so I do not think I want to tell the fans who do not know what an ass Shayne can be.

Am I making sense?
Do you like Shayne?

Corson slept with Mogilny's wife and that is why he left the Leafs. (by the way, I was just kidding about not tellin' you~lol)

Shayne does have a reputation for sleeping with teammates wives/girlfriends.

P.S. Corey,great name!!!

Well, we'll agree to disagree. I believe that he had some good characteristics, but that was a long time ago. Even his last go around with the Habs was an obvious sign of his faded usefulness.

Any team that touches a player that walks out on his team during trying not to be a "distraction" (it was just the opposite) deserves him. That was the summmit of being a selfish player. He could have waited a week until they were eliminated but he had to grab some extra camera time by doing it in the playoffs. Way to be a TEAM player, Shayne!

As for his hands....he was on a line with Richer. Even Semenko scored when a certain someone gave it to him with a wide open crease. Neither Shayne nor Richer are exactly like those guys, but you get the picture.
