#18 Prospect Results

Now things really get tough....but i'm going with the skillful Billy Ryan who has 2nd line potential....trouble could be reaching it though. But I like what I see from him each time I watch him, next year he should be on the top line for Maine.

Once again, it's really difficult to say that any of these people are really better or worse than the others. I voted for Holt, who could have been #9 or #10 on this list without any complaint from me.

Add Byers.

Hillier Add Degon (He is under contract with Hartford, so does that make him a Rangers prospect?) if not, add Byers

Graham is the pick for me based on his size alone.

I cannot stand Holt - he's fat
We have the deepest list of prospects, Holt barely touches my top 30 or 35

After Graham at 19, I like Krevton, the Czech we traded up to take last month,
followed by Hillier, Bahensky, Ryan, Olver

Russell. Add Potter

How is Graham being picked over Russell? Russell had a great year last year while Bruce struggled in his first year in the pros. C'mon guys Russell deserves some attention.

Graham is huge and, more importantly, had made great strides last year (according to reports) before a nasty viral infection really messed with his 05-06 season.

I simply don't know if he is or isn't, and may end up being the best of all these guys one day for all I know. But, until you get him playing against pros, you just don't know how his diminutivity will affect his play at the next level.

Got to go with Girardi here. He came out of nowhere last year and had a real good season in the AHL. Add Byers.

Gonna go with Hillier, he's a kid I like a ton if he can put it all together.

Dawes was my guy in 03, Dubinsky in 04 and Dupont in 05.

Hillier is my guy for 06.

What great strides did he make? He started the year off in HFD and scored almost no points, got sick, was out for a few months, came back went sent to the ECHL and did ok there..but then again the ECHL is the same league Jessiman put a point a game.

Sorry for the confusion. First of all, I have never seen him play and can only go off what I read. So, bearing that in mind, my point was NOT in reference to 05-06, but rather the articles and posts I've read regarding his last season at Moncton and the following offseason.

05-06 was clearly a lost season for Bruce, which is why I didn't vote for him until #19. And, admittedly, if he was only 5'11" I still wouldn't be voting for him at this point.

Olver, led his Northern Michigan team in scoring, might be a nice player in the New NHL.

Add Sven Helfenstein
