as i stated before players who file arbratration case's against the hawks usually get shipped outta town . 5 of them did and only 4 remain today

mark bell - gone

Kyle Calder- rumours flying he is next to go

Mikael Holmqvist
Jim Vandermeer
Radim Vrbata

what do you guys think of a plan " d" named Radim Vrbata?

*Sigh* Plan D...Personally I still think we're on Plan A. Just because an offer was made and rejected nobody said that it wasn't considered in Plan A. Usually Plan B comes into effect when you get serious injuries to key players or you have restricted players refuse to sign.

Well whatever the plan is, it's not one to become competitive... we have to wait another 2-3 years before that. 7-year rebuild. Truly well done.

I would bring back Eric Desjardins and trade Souray , Aebischer and Zednik.

Where you heard Vrbata is available ?? I dunno becuz if Hawks acquire him last season they probably want to keep him, becuz he did pretty well at the end of the season

You think you 2 can decide whose is bigger in private ?

doug , I don't think Vrbata makes sense. There are a few options as I see them. What Vrbata would bring is what we already have. Plus you have to hope one of our younger wingers exceeds what he's done. If Sykora's the best we can do, them if nothing else,he's a finisher playing with a guy like Kovy who will create.

Sykora's just farther along, imo, Vrbata's nothing we don't have. These aren't waiver wire guys though, they'd cost players. I like Calder, I'd at least ask about him, though I think they already have.

I hadn't heard. To be honest, its a little disturbing to hear him say something like that. Maybe he meant plan D for free agents...but I hope its not Plan D overall...because that would be pretty sad to think that he absolutely needed to sign a free agent for his plans to develop.

I reopened the thread but no more personal crap. It's very, very simple. Talk about the damn topic and not each other. That goes for everyone, don't reply to people making comments about others, eithe report the post or don't respond!
