The official when will Ribeiro go thread

With the team stepping up the offence and our lines looking much more cohesive now, it looks like Ribeiro is the last vestige of the old, mediocre Habs. That big second line centre has to get here sometime, so, how long does it take to get the critical upgrade we need for a playoff drive?

I think he'll have a career year, personally.

career year or not, unless Ribeiro scored 40+ goals and nets 100pts, he won't remain a Hab after this season.

If he is not preforming at career best all season long he most likley will not last long.
But will Bob find a buyer for him?

Wouldn't now be the time to dump him, even if its only for a 4th rounder, rather than have him start the season as a lame duck?

Here's the question...

Does Ribeiro DESERVE to play with Kovalev and Samsonov?
Lots of centers would love this opportunity.
I just hope (if this is the line) that Ribeiro can deliver.
We know he has talent, but it's all about his consistency, effort, heart.
We shall see.

Go Habs Go!!!!

Welcome Samsonov!!!!

------------ ---------------- ------------- ------------
p.s.: I really hope that the 3rd offensive line will be:
Kostitsyn Plekanec Perezhogin

Great line for the new NHL!!
