Ugh, this team will never learn how to play team hockey with the current group and Sather running this sinking ship.

Are you now talking about the same Poti that your Master Sather is shopping around ?

Yes, I do hope that they would some day turn the corner, but I have not noticed them playing consistent hockey yet this season. Unless you count consistently unconsistent or bad hockey as such. And no, I would have never done the Poti deal in the first place. But I have long since accepted that Sather made a bad trade in my opinion.

P.S. Make that 2-4 for Oilers. Good hockey by the Rangers ain't it ?

Have the kids been benched yet ? Haven't heard them being mentioned much...

Make it 4-2 Edmonton, Torres scores.

Four, count'em 4 unanswered goals. On home ice. The 2nd period horrors continues.

We've got a great rebuilt system, a solid group of reliable veterans and world class coaching. You can only lay the blame on us fans for not being supportive enough. The process of elimination....

On WFAN: "Sather needs to shake up things for the 3rd, maybe go with three lines." and "We haven't seen much of Moore and Lundmark out there." Net result, guess who sits in the third ?

The second Poti notched his second assist ? Every time this team shows a ray of hope ? No, this was not a swing at Poti. Good for him. It was about time he got a few helpers.

And Jar Jar, don't get me wrong, but if the team sucks for 6 years without any long term signs of turning things around, you'll need to forgive us for not seeing this team "turning the corner". It will take more than a win here and a good effort there. It will take consistency, commitment and accountability. And so far this season, I've seen little evidence of the above.

Even a tie would be nice here, ignoring the blown lead, it would show some real guts...great effort by Lindros...thank god he's back...

Go to nhl.com and click on NHL Radio. Not sure why you'd want to listen to this game, unless you're an Oilers fan.

Awful, awful, awful.

A second period that brought back shades of 99-00. How the hell is Sather not playing the Lundmark line when CLEARLY all other lines have blown horribly, including the precious Messier line.

Great too see Dvorak get one with the assist going to York. *** classic. If Edmonton ends up blowing Dunham and the rest of Glen's vet-fest out of the water in the 3rd, I hope those two lead the charge...and I hope the camera crew gets a nice close up of Jackass's mug after each goal.

They better seriously play some hard ******* hockey this next period. I'm not even so sure if I want to see them win after that garbage I had to sit through.

Through 2, Moore @ 6:10, Lundhotra @ 5:45, Hlavac @ 4:52. Seems pretty much like a 3 line game already to me.

Alittle much....not to mention the fact that he's right, it's not like a 2 goal lead in the first period is something to write home about

But just as much so, somebody should try getting off of Glen's **** long enough to realize what mess this really is.

3-5 nuff said. Rolling three lines I hear. Atleast Glen is using Moore and Lundmark on the PK...

...bet ya he will rip them in the press tomorrow for not "dominating" and "producing" on the PK
