I think you can order some Wisconsin curds (they're orange, but at least they're in the same family) pretty easily online; at least it won't get stuck/refused at the border (does cheese cross easily? )

I imagine it would taste like the batter from a parmagian (i.e. without the meat). That is terrible, why would anyone make such a thing?!

Best poutine in the Kingston area is from Bubba's.... So good! Especially after many pitchers of beer....

Although I'm proud that I ate poutine in Cuba (but considering that the resort was co-owned by Serge Savard, and something like 80% of the people who go there are from Quebec, I guess it's not surprising. Still, it was great to get to go to a resort in another country, eat poutine and watch the Habs on RDS. Talk about having your cake and eating it too!)

Don't you dare to call an Elder of the Poutine High Council a Poutine Heretic!!!

Edit: Oh, and check YOUR math. The poutine thread is on the Canes board. So it is successful.

Time and Time again we've proved that the sacred pretzel is nothing but a false deity. I invite you to read the works of Gros Bill on the subject.

Whilst the Poutine has been successful.

Any and all snack food deities, be they primary like the Sacred Pretzel or lesser/pretender deities like Poutine are to be used in furtherance of the Glory of the Montréal Canadiens.

Gros Bill is a wise man (some would save a wiseass) but his rantings on the Pretzel are driven by his desire that mcphee worship only him and not the Pretzel. I think Gros Bill wanted to eat the Pretzel.

U english people have to stop messing around with poutine!!!!

U cant even spell it correctly

NO ITS NOT ' poo-teen'

It is : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...of-Poutine.wav
As I've stated before:

Actually depending on which side of St Laurent street you live on the pronounciation differs.

West of ST Laurent it's poo - tin

East of ST Laurent is's pou - teen

Whatever you do DO NOT ask for pou - tain.

Especially on the St Laurent and Ste Catherine

This ends our pheonetics lesson for the day.

Fresh squeeky cheddar cheese curds. It must squeak.

Saint-Hubert Poutine Gravy is pretty good. Others will disagree..

No doubt... but after having invaded the south with the glory of Poutine, we will have conquered them (they'll all be sleeping) and then we shall strike..

Glory to the HABS

The glory of Poutine, trumps the glory of all.

We need to spread Poutine to the masses, all should have Cheesy gravy goodness.

Once that is done, Les Glorieux will go on a never ending streak of Stanley Cup Victories.

You must be high on BBQ...

PHC has not conquered them only placated them with a Silver mug. The Sacred Pretzel will surely make you all pay for this error.

Poutine cannot exist on it's own, it's a complimentary snack, so unless you are planning on exporting Lafleur's steamed hot dogs as well, you are doomed.

Heresy.

The greatness of Poutine is that it is both a meal and a side dish. It can stand alone or something else can be used to compliment it. It all depends on how much you have.

Vegetables = Potatoes
Gravy = Made from Meat, there should be protine in there
Cheese = Milk products.
Potatoes are starchy too giving you the carbs you need.

Its a well balanced meal my friend. And great for Hangovers.

The Council has spoken.

Not to mention that advanced poutine afficionados may choose to add sausages or bacon or chicken to their poutine.

You dare put the pretzel in my face.. and call Poutine a measly side-dish..

Well the Pretzel is barely a snack.. let alone a meal..
