Easy to sell out that fast when a city is so starved for ANY championship that they can't stand it...

Good thing the Hurricanes play in Raleigh since you obviously have no clue about the RBC center... The Nextel cup all-star race was the same day as game 1,it draws 200,000 fans, which was the only game not sold out until the day before and that is because a lot fans buy tickets to that a year in advance and spend an entire 14 days in Charlotte for 2 races... Dude, i will tell you that Buffalo fans are THE most disrespectful people that have EVER stepped into an opposing arena... I am just glad that Boise, ID has as many professional championships from it's pro teams as Buffalo does from it's current pro teams... Hanging a banner in front of Buffalo on Oct 4th with be so satisfying...

Nah, just wanted to show you what the cup going up in your home arena looks like

There is no need to be nasty.... I know our teams battled to the end, but we all love hockey and we all love our team as much as the next guy... Heck, if you come down on Oct 4, you can stay in my spare bedroom...

Seriously man, that's enough. We all get it that you don't like the Canes. The fact is that Carolina had a super loud building in the playoffs.

If you want to put forth some real and rational arguments, that's fine, but all you've done to this point is rant, spout stereotypes, and use terrible grammar and spelling.

My loudest arenas list (no order):

1) Carolina
2) Edmonton
3) San Jose
4) Montreal
5) Calgary

Nuh uh - Edmonton the loudest, but definately not in the regular season.

This isn't because we only love our team when they're in the playoffs, but we're one of the few arenas that just shut up and watch hockey instead of cheering our ***** off when the opposing team gets called on the offside.

Edmonton easily takes the cake if this list were based just on the playoffs. Carolina would be up there as well. But Rexall is a tomb in the regular season, as are most Canadian arenas outside ACC and Bell Centre. And one player said that the arena that he heard the most individual voices was Carolina.

San Jose has always had a reputation as one of the loudest NHL arenas, since the first playoff game at San Jose Arena back in 1994.

You are correct, Edmonton is freeking nuts in the playoffs but moderate during the year. But if we drank like that all the time no work would ever get done.

I do think Montreal is loudest during the regular season.

I'm an oiler season ticket holder, and i also went to RBC centre during game 7. Let me tell you this, RBC is just as crazy as rexall at certain points, not as consistent as rexall but definitaly crazy. The reasoning for this is how the arena is more controlled and lets the fans know when commercials are going to end and so forth.

Well if your city counsel weren't idiots and made a 15,500 arena you would have a team in a few years.

Please explain this. How do you tell fans to shut up and stop cheering or start because a commercial is on.

its not hard to tell susually when there is a stopage that lasts for 2 minutes instead of 20 seconds... and whats there to chear about during stoppages anyways... sure chanting is cool but what do you get excoited about the way your captain passed the new full water bottle to the goaltender?

Definitely! It is kinda fun to watch new posters get in huge fights about this stuff though.

Actually, my answer is Not Ottawa.

Too many fans quietly watching the play and analyzing instead of boozing it up and hollerin'.

145 dB. I've never seen a lamer, more insecure attempt by a team to show they "belong". Too bad they have to blatantly lie about it.

Rexall Place is the loudest rink in the west, Centre Bell is the loudest in the east.

Haha, exactly. Do we know where you're coming from, Oil fans take over our rivals rink in much the same way...
