Hilarious article from sportspickle

Garth Snow makes great first move as GM by replacing Garth Snow in Islanders’ net

New Islanders general manager Garth Snow got off to a great start in his new position last week by getting rid of Garth Snow as the team’s backup goaltender.
The move was applauded by many Islanders fans who felt the appointment of Snow to the front office by team owner Charles Wang was an awful move.
“I’ll give it to Snow,” said season ticket holder Mike Stewart. “If this is the type of moves we can expect from him in the future, then we’ve got ourselves a great general manager. Lord knows we were never going to win a title with Garth Snow in net, and he saw that and got rid off him. Awesome stuff. I’m feeling excited about the new regime.”
Snow says being named general manager was contingent upon him retiring from the ice, but that is not a fact he plans to share with the fans.
“I’m fine with them thinking this was of my doing,” said Snow. “But to be honest, even if I didn’t have to quit playing, I would have cut myself anyway. I know I sucked. Everyone did. Well, at least, everyone but the Islanders’ former management. I was just collecting a paycheck. But I won’t have players like me under my watch. You don’t win titles with players like Garth Snow on your team.”

Make sure to provide links when quoting people or articles. (I seriously doubt they even ARE real quotes...)

I'd seriously question anyone who didn't think this was satire.

With the first button the right hand side saying 'fake quote of the week', I would also have to wonder about those who didnt realize this was ment to be a joke.

I think you still should have realized it was a joke just by the quotes alone.
