4-1 Ducks after 2.
We seem to do very well for a few games, then have a bad let down and play .500 hockey for a few... then right on back to playing well for a couple and so on.

Welcome to Leafs Nation, leave your common sense at the door.

Hey Y'All.......

Our Fearless Leader Pat Quinn on the radio now talking about how the Leafs "really moved the puck around really great".......HOWEVER the object of this little game is to put the biscuit in the basket which the leafs only did once on this night.......Oh well.....I'm not worried (YET)......It's still early on in the season....we still have a loooong way to go yet.........

Quinn also saying that "the Ducks didn't beat the Leafs tonight"....He says "the Leafs beat themselves"........interesting......I think.

I didnt have a major problem with the general play tonight. I didnt think we looked necessarily bad - they were skating and passing well and creating chances offensively. Two problems, however - 1) we didnt hit. What is this nonsense. The Leafs are better when they play physical. They played right into the hands of the Ducks. HIT SOMEONE damnit. I hope to see this change tomorrow. 2) we didnt capitalize on our chances. Giggy saw everything, didnt have to put up with much rebounds either.

The difference tonight was that they did capitalize on their chances.

The leafs can't seem to win when they tally away from a more so physical game. I honistly don't know why teams don't play more physical aginst the Ducks as that kind of game seems to throw most these guys off there game. Yet teams go into the pond trying to play the ducks style of game it's beyond me.
