I work at CDN movie theater... It's not exactly well paid (i get 9,25, you start at 8.25 and move up to 8.50 after probation of 120 hours), but the benefits are great seeing as we're syndicated. Once you get through the first 120 hours, you're basically untouchable unless you are extremely dumb and get caught stealing red handed or something. Paid breaks are fun too (45 min break for 5h shift, 1h for 8h, 1.5h for 10+hours) and it's easy as hell. You basically work for half an hour (rush time when movies start/finish) and the rest you socialize with other employees. Of course, free movies, posters, etc don't hurt either.

i own a resto and cafe in MTL, if any of you guys want a $9 an hour cash job + tip just repost email. Its so hard to find good responsible help, and being a fellow hab fan will pass the time quicker. Moreover, my cafe in PLace Versailles is the perfect pick up place, the girls just come to you, and my resto in TMR has Dickie Moore as a client 2-3 times per week.
Factories, I worked 1 month and a half in one. Got paid 16$ an hour, 84 hours per 2 weeks, 23$ an hour for 12 hours during Sunday. 600$+ paychecks per week. The job is **** though, I quit it. If you dont mind hating your job, then pm me for the info.
I did many different student jobs in an hospital (janitor, clerk, cook, etc.) and was paid about $16/h.
You also get to decide which days you want to work so you can change your work schedule each semester depending on your school schedule.
Best part though is you get to meet many hot nurses!
If golf courses there have them, one of the easiest (and fun jobs) I ever had was being a caddy. Get paid to carry someones golf clubs? That and if they're nice they tip big time, plus at the course I caddied in the US you could play there once a week. Exercise, sunshine, money and golf? Doesn't get much better for a student.

I don't know how many fed government jobs are in Montreal but I worked (and still work) for the govy as a student and it paid extremely well (my last semester of school, I got paid $17.94/hr). You'd most likely start at $13-14/hour depending on what year of Uni you are, but it goes up every semester or two.
If you have no contacts to get into the fed government, apply on FSWEP (www.jobs.gc.ca). You just fill out an application and put in your skills, and then they'll call you if there are any positions open that match your skill in your area.
Call Centers pay usually well. I know Starchoice is looking for ppl. Regular CSRs start at $14.60/hour. Its inbound calls so u don't call ppl, they call u for info or to buy. I currently work for Bell ExpressVu(they are hiring) and make $20/hour however u'd start around $13-$14 I think. I'm a full time student so I only work 24 hours a week
why not look for an office job? big companys give them out like hot cakes for students during the summer.. and you make 14+ (atleast at the ones i worked for)
and its easy work

I'd love to work for the gvment, but it's quite hard to find a part time job...
SAQ pays crayze also (18$ + 40% discount after 300 hours), they hired me last year for the x-mas rush, but gave me Pierrefonds / ile Perrot sector so I chocked.
