Dammit are you serious? What the hell is it about the Habs that makes everyone so injury prone once they join this organisation??

Hopefully he'll still be ready for Montreal's training camp.

Yo...this is not cool, if something is to stall his development...it'd be concussions. I hope this was just concussion-like symptoms...and he gets better soon.

People Relax - My goodness, he got hurt . . . and ???????????

You guys that are freaking out that a "hockey player", shouldn't be to surprised (I would think), that this might happen in the game of hockey from time to time.

Take some "chill pills" and save the energy for the season!

Later amigo's

Spraining an ankle, breaking a bone type injuries are nothing to get concerned about. Concussions are potentially career ending injuries, there are justifiable reasons for people to be concerned about this especially since it's not the first time it's happened.

I guess the explains why he was "shutout" in the game last night, as another poster stated.

It is problematic....

Don't you guys remember the concussion he had in the Q playoffs that made him missed some games, concussion that he had no idea how he got it???? The guy doesn't even remember checking somebody, the team while watching the previous games have no idea how he got it but he had one anyway and you're still not worried???

Sorry but I am....'Cause then it's possible that he becomes a little tentative and so it will affect his style of play.....or he keeps having those concussions..

Sure let's hope it's 2 freaky unfortunate events, but once you start getting those, I don't think you can stop it that easily.....

I hope he plays the game so hard, with so much passion and, rage? that they mistake it for Concussion like symptoms.

Concussions wory me greatly with a kid like this. As one gets higher numbers of them, one becomes more susceptible to further concussions. Particularly since everyone's given Latendresse flak for not going balls-out every night, he's going to be driven to hit hard, and potentially further injure himself.

What's even more disturbing is that he's getting these concussions playing against smaller and slower CHL competition. What's it going to be like when he's playing the the much bigger and faster NHL?

I'm not concerned. Concussions are very serious business and certainly such situations should not be merely shrugged off, but we don't know the extent or the seriousness of the concussion. Every player in the league is at risk of getting a concussion...it could happen on any hit at any time...hopefully this teaches him to keep his head up and improve his skating, etc. and ultimately makes him a better player.

Let's all keep in mind as well that while he has shown flashes of brilliance, we're still only talking about a prospect here, and ultimately, if he pans out or not, it will not be the first or last time that one of our second rounders is successful or not...people shouldn't be talking about this like it's the end of the world...Koivu's eye injury was the end of the world, circa playoffs 2006...this is just a small incident for now.

He got his hot cousin to come watch the game, that's why Latendresse collided with Downie.
