Thomas Kaberle

His point productions seems to be low as compared to his last couple of seasons. Is there a reason for this? Is he still playing on the #1 PP unit? Who is his Defensive Partner? Do you expect him to pick it up? I'm wondering what to do with him in my fantasy draft. Thanks in advance.

AVE_MAN........

Never mind Kaberle did yu see Bryan McCabe's numbers so far this season?....I think he's averaging better than a point-per-game....I also notice that he's starting to shoot the puck more which is great cause he has an awsome Slapper.

He's on the 1st PP unit. His PP time is 2nd only to McCabe.

I think he will pick it up. He's been a pretty consistent performer for Toronto.

I think one reason for his slow start might be that he's played with so many different partners.

Last year he played with Svehla all year. This year he played with Marchment in training camp. Jackman to start the season. Then Klee for a while. Now he's with McCabe.

McCabe and Kaberle had a lot of success two years ago together.

Ave Man, keep him.

The whole team started off slow this season.

I picked him up after some guy dropped him in my pool, he's good for 40-50 points once again this season.

He needs to learn to shoot the puck more, if he did that he'd up his goal production. I don't how many times you see Kaberle with a perfect one-timer or shot on net, but he passes it off instead.

I'd keep him for at least a short time longer and see what happens, in the past he's put up exceptional fantasy numbers when paired with McCabe.

He's generally been quite consistent over the years, and he's definitely going to remian our primary offensive weapon from the D and will remain on the first PP unit.

My guess is the lack of a consistent partner has hurt his performance somewhat thus far.

If the partner swapping continues, or his fantasy numbers don't pick up after awhile of being paired with McCabe then I'd suggest looking for an alternative.

Same thing happened to Caber last year. he was floating around with different partners and his #'s suffered as a result.

I agree with you Sluggo he should shoot more. There is alot of times Kaberle is open in the slot and he decides to pass it off instead of shooting on net it is extreamly frustrating to watch but there are alot of other leafs that also have this same problem.

The majority of Kaberle's points come from assists, which are hard to get when nobody puts the puck in the net. Now that the offense seems to be on the right track, I'd expect him to start getting a few more points

I agree. The leafs started the season horribly offensively. But they are all geared up and i'd hold on to him!

"but there are alot of other leafs that also have this same problem."

That doesn't excuse Kaberle from not doing it. If the other players have the same problem then someone needs to start putting it on net, why not Kaberle.
