Owen Nolan vs Tony Amonte

Perhaps not the same type of players, but they start NHL career each in the low 90's ( 90-91 and 91-92 )

They got close statistic

Amonte : 1093GP - 406-464-870 ( .79PPG ) PO: 93GP and 54 points (.58PPG)
Nolan : 915GP - 349-386-735 ( .80PPG ) PO: 58GP - 34 points (.58PPG)

Who you think was more an impact player then the other ? Nolan was more physical and more injury prone but they got both better season of 84 points.

Who you choose ?

Owen Nolan for me...

I actually love both players and it is very close, but Nolan gets the "Shark-bonus"

I'd say Amonte. Nolan really only had one really good offensive season other than when he was on the Nordiques with Sakic and Sundin.

Nolan for me, but then he's been my favourite player ever since the 97 All Stars competition.

A close battle, but I take Tony Amonte. He had a couple of really good seasons a couple of years back. Plus he is a former Blackhawk

Amonte was mroe consistant.

Nolan was consistant at Quebec, but Sundin and Sakic was there for passing him the pck !

Amonte can still play. Though he may not be the scorer he once was, hes a key part of the flames 2 transition game. Hes still got the wheels.

Nolan played with more of a nasty edge to his game but Amonte is better imo.
