Im not looking foward to this heat at all! I work for UHAUL installing hitches, so i'm outside for atleast 3-4hrs in an un-airconditioned shop turning wrenches. BLAH I like the heat but this is a little crazy. Oh well, drink lots of water and stay cool!

It's weeks like these where I just cannot comprehend how anyone lives in Florida.
Try Vegas where a bad monsoon season had us sitting in 117 degree temperatures and 75% humidity.

I was playing softball last week and I felt like I weighed 400 pounds running the bases.

isn't vegas in the desert? what's this about humidity?

I'd take 117 and dry over 107 and humid. atleast you get relief at night in the desert.

Today is one thing. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 107 w/o the heat index. Oh well. The good news is that I will preemptively sweat out whatever it is that I pollute myself at the bar with afterwards.

There was a guy from the City government on the radio this morning who said that tomorrow's heat index at Laguardia would be 115ºF!

Of course, I don't like Farenheit at all (stupidest scale ever invented), so that's 46ºC to me!

What are the odds of a Citywide blackout in the next three days?

Especially when you are going to a College football game on a Saturday afternoon, that combination is perfect together.

BTW, it's 88 degrees right now in central Jersey.

I just watch Channel 4 and the heat index in the city is 102 right now at 11:05pm. Also the temperature in Newark is 92 and was a 100 today, when I worked at the Newark Raddison - now Sheraton - one summer it was 105 at the airport which was across the street, for some reason Newark gets extremely hotter than other areas, I betcha they crack 105 again tomorrow, maybe even exceed it.
