(HF Story) Jarret Stoll Q&A

Some of you have already seen it but here's a link to the interview I had earlier today with Jarret: http://www.hockeysfuture.com/article...readed&order=0

This is not a reprinting of the one from the summer, it's from today (Wed. Nov 12).

We need to Know

Another good interview, I myself am a little envious of your well deserved access. Keep up the good work!

Guy, you must get sick of hearing this but that was an excellent interview. It is pretty rare that any interview (internet, radio, or tv) leaves me with an informed opinion on the person but whenever I read your interviews, I feel like I know the kid.

I don't know if it is this medium, but your interviews have been the best coverage on the oilers so far this year.

I for one thought the interview sucked!

LOL, just kidding- you know I love your work Guy. Another great interview, I think this is a kid you should talk to as often as possible, seems to give good interviews!

Dude, I've read all your columns and haven't given my props yet, as other readers have filled in quite adequetly, but damn bro, that is some awesome work. Well done and thank you with all of my heart.

Just thought I'd add that the things that stand out with your interviews compared to what we read in the papers is the general candour, the sense that these young guys maybe drop their shields just a little bit and let out a bit of what they're about.

Too often the players turn an interview into a clichefest with mainstream media, but not so much with you Guy. It's like drinking Jolt Cola after a lifetime of Mountain Dew.

I have to second that. I think in addition to his play, and his character, that he has the potential to be a great PR guy. He's so friendly and polite, and seems to take the time to give a real answer to a question. I talked to him for a minute or two at the autograph session at WEM, and I was endlessly charmed. (I think I surprised the heck out of him, too, showing up with a #36 jersey for him to sign )

You guys are all very kind... thanks a lot!

As for Stoll... If this guy isn't a captain in the NHL by the time he's 28 I will eat my shirt.
