Big Tree Inn wings aren't bad either.

Dangerous side of town?

Some of you haven't traveled beyond Erie County?

GABRIEL'S GATE wings are second to none. That's where I bring all my out-of-town visitors, and they agree. Not to mention it became the headquarters for the NHL staff and visiting teams during the playoffs. Nothing like some high level hockey people to give it the stamp of approval.

Is it normal to be thinking of chicken wings at 1 in the morning?

I guess it is in Buffalo.

I'm a big fan of the Chicken Fra Diavlo. I'll have to try the Parm sometime.

Amherst Ale House on North French has the BEST BBQ qings with their Crown Royal, and Pizza Works on Main and North FOrest has an amazing PW Inferno wing. Wagners in Lockport is still the best though!

Sacrilege!

The Big Tree Inn is located on the corner of Big Tree and Abott, about 2-3 blocks from The Ralph in Orchard Park.

Bills players often go there after practices or mid week.

Used to see Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas there all the time.

As for their wings, their decent, but not spectacular.

If anyone is in or visits the Charlotte area, try "The Taste of Buffalo Pizzeria" or "Harvey's Bar". They are both in Huntersville, and they have the best wings this side of the mason dixon (imho).

I wish we had something like that in Boston. Everytime I complain about the pizza here, people look at me like I have two heads.

The Big Tree Inn near the stadium are very good, although they use to be better. I think Anchor Bar is overrated.

Dudes, I'm in Moscow right now and this thread is making me insane with hunger.
We Russians are famous for our morbid fear of spicy foods and the hottest wings I could find here wouldn't even make it as "mild" on the Duff's scale.

Duff's, BTW, is probably unchallangeable for the best wings anywhere. However, on a hockey night I'd probably pick Anchor Bar. It helps that they serve pretty good non-wing fare, to wet the appetite.

You, my good sir, rock.

Also, I checked out Elmo's on Friday and of course, got the wings. These are a pretty good traditional wing, with Frank's sauce and butter. The blue cheese was very good here. It was also very cool seeing all of the signed Sabres jersies on the walls.

But I still like Bar Bill the best.

p.s. By the way, and this is totally off topic, but does anyone know where I can get a frame for a jersey? Most places I have seen charge hundreds of dollars for these, and that is a bit above my budget. I don't see the sense in buying a case for a signed jersey that will cost about as much, or more than the jersey itself.

For a culture that can also throw back vodka like water and deal with winter's right from the inner circle of Dante's Inferno... it seems odd that a few Scoville's of scorch would hold any fear.
