"There is no official word on the extent of Boullion's injury or how long he will be sidelined, but local reports say he could be out from four to six weeks."
The start of training camp (best case)
or mid - september, mid training camp (6 weeks)
So if all goes as expected he should be ready to play opening night.
However in a worst case scenario even if recovery is 8 weeks and hes not ready for game one, he should be able to get on the ice around the start of the season and with some practice time before he plays he should not miss more than 5 or 6 games.

4 weeks would mean end of August since he's already gone under the knife and is recovering now. 6 weeks puts him at mid september, right when camp starts. 8 weeks puts him at the end of september which would be preseason games.

I'm assuming the 4-6 weeks would be before he can even put on skates again. That would probably mean at least a week of skating alone or non-contact drills and a week of full practice should be added on before he hits the ice for a game.

There are 64 days till the season starts, or 9 weeks and 1 day. So if he needs 8 weeks he still would have 8 days before the season starts to get in shape.
