New York Rangers Proposal of the week

Rangers Leafs trade.

Rangers trade Al Montoya, Karl Rachunek, Blair Betts, Marcel Hossa to the Leafs for Darcy Tucker.


Leafs get another dman they can use and a good goalie prospect and a checking centre, when healthy can help their team. Rangers get much needed grit and that can play.

This also frees up a spot for Pock and a roster spot for dawes or youth.

not a bad lineup. It gives more grit for the playoffs. Every team has that Tucker type. Rangers can use one.

Besides, why would they want Montoya with a young goalie in Raycroft and Pogge coming up?

and isn't Tucker a winger?!
