Missing what? That Tucker's a gritty player? I'm waiting for that list of cheap shots he's delivered. The hit on Peca was questionable at WORST, and most people in hockey not from Long Island ruled it to be clean. Tucker himself was decked from behind by Alfredsson in the next round (on a play that Alfredsson ended up scoring on) - does that make Alfredsson a dirty player?
That and that he's a little guy who wears his heart on his sleeve and would only bleed blue and white if he didn't need red blood cells to live...why shouldn't we like him?
The incident with the bench was a bit embarrassing...but that wasn't a cheap shot. If anything, he was taking on impossible odds.
Harder to cheer for someone like Webb with no hockey skills (Tucker's a ~20 goal per season talent) who instigates without responding. Getting someone to drop their gloves and then skating away is playing without honour - reminiscent of Ulf Samuelsson in all his glory.
