Kovalev has always racked up the penalty minutes, probably because he can have a mean streak when he gets mad and is very, very strong. People often get caught up in his dazzling finesse moves but if you see him play game after game you'll notice how he can play physically when he wants to, even borderline "dirty" at times.

I think it was during the Rangers Cup year during the season where Kovalev was really irresponsible with his stick (I think he got suspended) and Mike Keenan even said during interviews that if he didn't get his act together, it would be better for the Rangers to trade him. Good thing they didn't because he was huge during the playoffs.

Yep Kovalev is rediculously strong. If you meet him in real life, you get blown away at how ripped he is. And when he gets mad, he does get dirty. I was really surprised at his physical play this season.

Ask Tucker.

This is the kind of adds the NHL should do. Give some aura to the stars.

If kovalev is AK 27 does that mean Alexander Korolyuk is better because he is AK-94?

Oh I know, Kovalev sucks because he appeared in an advertisement for the hockey sticks that sponsor him, with two chicks hotter than any of the trash I'll ever date!

The one on the right reminds me of Emmanuelle Chriqui.
