This is like the TV calling me when I hear this, I've got to come and sit right in front of it. I can't wait anymore for the beginning of the season.

Am I the only one to think it seems longer than during the lock-out?

Soon, the season will start and we will be listening to that song through October and into June.

The only saving grace about the lockout is that I was in Thailand (Sep 2004-Jan 2006) and Australia (Feb 2006-Dec 2006) so I didn't miss a single would-be game

Really it was just lucky, because I would have equally been in agony to everyone else.

This summer, however, has been incredibly long. Although next summer will be 10 times worse, since there will be no World Cup to watch in hockey's stead.

Actually, I've heard that song so much because of all the crybabies posting random clips of it for the past 2 years that it has lost all of its appeal. I'm starting to like the U2 track.

I couldn't agree with you more. If you wanna do something about it, go get your degree in sports administration, apply for a job at the Habs and talk to the decision makers.

Otherwise, just be freaking happy that the Habs scored a goal. They could crank Dixie Chicks or have McPhee belt out a yodel for every goal for all I friggin care. The Habs SCORED... we need no more reason for pure euphoria.

BTW, I am counting these threads each time they are created from this week on. We're at #2.
