Yeah you know what I remember about Kvasha...when Scott Stevens deliberately hit a helmetless Kvasha against the boards..

So did you think Biron was funny?

It wasn't a dive. Its called stepping on a stick and falling down. I didn't know falling on your *** was considering diving. The thing that sucks the most is the ref screwed up and called whomever it was for tripping.

That video is pretty funny though...it has turned into a pretty big joke between myself and a Sabres fan, we yell it at each other when one of us stumbles.

Didn't look much like a dive too me. More like he lost an edge when he went to make a cut.

I remember that play. The defenceman poked his stick out and hit the outside of Staal's left skate (hard to tell how hard it was), making him lose his balance. I'm pretty sure it was called tripping.

I'm not sure if you're accusing me of calling it a dive, but I used the word 'alleged' because the video is very unclear.

The radio station here in Buffalo joked about this:

No no not at all. I am re-telling what happened since you couldn't see it.

That tripping call was one of many blown calls during the playoffs.

I was only able to watch 4 of the 6 games in their entirety, and half of a 5th game in this series. The impression that I get is that Buffalo is truly the better team, even with the massive injuries to their defensive corps. They are a different, much better team with their entire Top 4 D-men suited up and ready to play, but even without their core defencemen dressed, they have been able to come together as a team, and use their speed and heavy hitting to offset the weakened defense. What took me by surprise was how the Hurricanes reverted to their usual penalty prone selves completely. Again they got away with a lot, including what I still feel are dives. My hat is off to the Sabres, however, for seeing this but still showing no fear and bringing a physical game. This team is putting it all on the line, hitting hard, and blocking shots… essentially risking injury on a team that is already severely weakened by them.
