Hamilton invites Riley Day to camp

The Bulldogs have invited Riley Day to camp after he signed a contract with the Cincinnati Cyclones. The 21 year old defensemen played in the dub for Brandon Wheat King and Medicine Hat Tigers. Can't say I recall seeing him play and in the past it's been common for the Dogs to h ave some players at camp from Long Beach. I don't know if Robin Richards will be at Hamilton's camp or not since he was picked up by the Cyclones, I'm guessing he won't be but if so I wonder how him and Bonneau will get along cause I beleive they dropped the gloves a couple times when he was with Victoriaville.

Interesting pickup. He does have size and can skate. Very much your stay at home type. I saw him play only once with Brandon and barely remember him. He certainly wasn't the best player out there.

Didn't he get a tryout with Ottawa? Perhaps I'm thinking of someone else...

Day has previous pro hockey training camp experience with both the Ottawa Senators and Carolina Hurricanes.
