vogoon

Btw speaking of goons, the Sens Neil seems to have a new combo based on fights in Atlanta (against Exelby) and tonight against the BlacknBlueJackets. It would be interesting the next time he takes on a heavyweight, assuming one doesn't consider Shelley (249 PIM last year) a true heavyweight.

:p

you do realize that by us talking about this now, there won't be ANY fights, or even checking?

we should shut up about it now, lest the "hyped fight-game" curse take effect.

Iginla spazzed on that one. He was frustrated the whole night. If I'm not mistaken, those were the only worthwhile shots he got on Vokoun all night

It was an uncalled for play but it was hardly dirty. Dirty is the cheap slash or getting your stick up. What Vokoun did, if done by any other player would have been looked upon as a decent bodycheck. Illegal, yes but not even close to what Turco did. No one says, oh Turco just slashed Hartnell in the wrist...cool. Why? Because it was dirty. What Vokoun did didn't even come close to injuring anyone. It was just physical play from a goaltender. A far cry from some of Turco's antics.

Doubt it will be on NHL.com, they show the occasional hit but they miss a lot of huge checks (Hamhuis crushing Kovalchuk and a lot of Hammy's hippies) so I don't expect it. One can hope though.

Thing is...Iginla was about 5 feet offsides....it should have never gone down. But it was pretty obvious Tomas lined him up. Bad move by him....the last thing the Preds need is an injured Vokoun. You have a 4-1 lead with 20 seconds use your brain and let it go.

Yep, dirty is punching Iginla after a few other players have already grabbed him.

LOL

How is it dirty to hit Iginla after Iginla threw the first punches?
