The Hockey News

In The Hockey News magazine's month edition, they placed the Flames for the Stanley cup champions in 2006-2007 NHL Playoff. Also, always according to them, they placed the Buffalo Sabres on Stanley cup finalist....

It's really suprising....

Don't listen to Those JERKS, they don't know anything. For last year they said Flyers are going to win the Cup and they are going to face the the Flames.

You've already shown yourself to be a not-very-knowledgeable Oiler fan. Why do you keep posting on the Flames board??

As far as Hockey News picking the Flames, well, they have as good a shot as anyone.

That pick that the Hockey News made was at the start of 2005- 06 season, In 2004 season the Flames made their cup run and after the lockout the Hockey news people said that the Flames are going to lose again in the finals. Which was not going to happen because Iginla was not going to let it happen. After the lockout and at the start of 2005- 06 season they said Carolina was going to finish in 14 place and not make the playoffs and they ended up winning the cup. For this upcomig season 2006- 07, I do not know who is going to win the cup. But I am hoping that it is the Flames.

Da_pope,
you are going to have to change your avatar. Tanguay will be wearing 40, not 18.

I find it quite strange that people actually seem to have a personal hatred for THN simply because their predicitions are often wrong. Are anyone's hockey predictions often right?

I know but effort and such.
Plus I can't find a good pick of him wearing 40.
