OT - Vans' Warped Tour

Is anyone going? The lineup this year is pretty crappy, but a cute girl asked me to go, and since I'm a guy... I will be attending.

Rise Against
Less Than Jake
Motion City Soundtrack

the only three bands I really want to see.

I don't plan to go, because I'm not very hip.

You will. I went last year and it will be my last, needless to say. The scene's become too trendy, bringing together a genuinely dumb group of kids.

Don't forget that the Union Stage will be back so bands like Subb and Planet Smashers might be there

Their biggest claim to fame is their song was on a Labatt's Blue commercial a while back. It's called "get loose", pretty good track - other than that, no idea.

I would only go to see Silverstein [only because they are home towners], ill Scarlett [awesome band] and NOFX [please tell me you've at least heard of them?!], but since even NOFX who are headliners only get a 30 minute timeslot, I still probably wouldn't go.

Warped has gone way down since the days when No Use For a Name, All, Bad Religion, Millencolin, Lagwagon, The Specials, etc were all on the roster. I'm surprised NOFX hasn't abandoned ship as well.

I remember back in 1998 when nobody knew Blink 182 and they were on a crappy small stage and people booed them and chucked bottles at them even back then
