I don't know, I find Malik is good for checking and pokechecking.

Malik is not half bad, although i just realized i boosted his stats a bit.

As far as Shanny is concerned, he is actually doing better than Jagr in my season, but he is a bit slow. I find like i put too much pressure/focus on Jagr and in turn Shanahan flourishes. In on incarnation of the season i tried to see what I could get in terms of a #1 Center or D-man for Jagr. (blasphemy i know)

Pronger in one case was good and Brad Richards in another.

This works out to be 3.96 goals per game. That's awfully difficult to sustain for an entire season.

Do you realize that in 2005-2006 the mighty Ottawa Senators managed "just" 3.83 goals per game? You're claiming that NYR (as a team) will outscore the 2005-2006 Senators with the power-packed lineup they featured? I think not.

Given that NYR replaced Rucinsky, Sykora and Rucchin with Shanahan, Hall and Cullen, I'm thinking the best you can hope for is a wash three for three.

Given that JJ is coming off of shoulder surgery, I'm seeing no improvement in total production from JJ/Prucha combined. And if Petr is made to play RW, their collective output may well decline.

The blueline should score more than last year. I'll grant that much.

With the roster configured as you list, I'd be happy with 3.25 goals per game and my hunch is that it will be closer to 2.95 to 3.15 goals per game.
