Talk about setting up fans for dissapointment. Not sure what Jock was smoking.
Even without Taratukhin on the NHL roster, there's a logjam. If Tanguay can move to his more natural LW, that creates a more specific one at LW. Unless Nystrom has an outstanding camp, he's most likely ticketed for another year (with injury call-ups to be expected) at Omaha, in practically any scenario.

Unless he's capable of those bone-jarring hits, that Sabres fans came to love Peca for, his unside isn't quite that high.

Oh come on now, like most CPers I can't go for a whole day without without checking the boards for any shred of news and some idle summertime banter. If CP ain't givin it up I gotta get it somewhere!

I'm rather enjoying this. Its like bumping into people where you don't except too.

"Hey look its that cranky son of a gun Timbit...what's he doing here?"

Truth be told I check out this site pretty regularly just to see what other folks are saying and a different viewpoint.

Lombardi negotiations took a long time. Well Mathew, it is time to prove yourself. One year deal.

I don't know, a one year deal would make him harder to trade actually. Or at least you would get a lot less back. Maybe it was to motivate him.

...Rumour's say this is a sign & trade situation. Sutter is making a package revolving around Lombardi for a Gomez push.

Rumor says that the Lombardi rumor comes from Eklund's mouth, I call BS.

The first guy I would like to see tryout on the top line this year is him Lombo. I really believe him paired with two elite wingers could break him out and that line would have so much potential.

A lot like the Oilers line.....Horcoff didnt show up till he was paired with his two star wingers.
