Yes, but there are some that do a better job of keeping sticks out. Check out the one that, for example, Ovechkin wears. It comes in much closer to the cheek bone.

What a sight for sore eyes... no pun intended.

I am soo pumped for Saku this year I hope he plays all 82 + games this year, after all he has been through he deserves a year of good luck!

Indeed he does deserve a healthy year, but I think we all know that with his past, we will not get a full season from him.

It's good to wish him a healthy year, but 70 games is expected.

Anything more than 75 would be a surprise to me, actually.

I love Captain K, one of my favorites, but I think he'd be pretty embarassed if anyone suggested that to him.

Well think of everything he's done for the city. Let alone lead the habs as captain. Everything he's done for the sick children...my gf's sister has lucemia and she loves hockey and koivu...her parents found a way to reach him and he took the time to come visit her and hung out with her for almost an hour. that kind of stuff goes straight to the heart.

I agree 100%. He represents a lot of things very well, and he's the fiery type of player I've always appreciated. There've been a few great C's over the years though. Messr's Richard [both] Beliveau and Gainey have all done themselves and the team very proud.
