Malkin isnt going anywhere, and if he gets traded to Montreal Shero will be fired ASAP, Montreal has absolutly nothing that would make Shero start thinking, not even Kovalev. Shero has been the smartest GM all off season, he is not going to mess up huge now.

You all can believe what you will,

Wildcat has never been wrong in reporting done deals before, thats because he waits until he gets confirmation from his sources. He is a writer for the ducks AHL affiliate, the portland pirates, but this offseason hes been helping us duck fans with his insider info on underground workings of the NHL. I want to say thank you to him and for everything hes done for the duck community

Just wondering, did you hear this on the fan 590 yourself? or did wildcat report that?

Great trade for the Habs.. Bergie and Colliton both have good upside. Never been a big Komisarek fan.

Anybody wants to start the BS chant while I go to bed? Thank you.

Let's give the donkey a chance before taking it behind the barn to put it down, shall we?

I'm not hot on handing the Isles our only young bruiser at the blue line in exchange for a non-physical puck passer that got all of 17 points last year in 74 games. Give Streit 74 games and he gets more points than that. He got 11 in 48 games, some of which he barely played in at all.

But the deal sweetens. Radek Bonk VS Jeremy Colliton? I BUY!

And Bergenheim...is a throw in.

And if this leads to Dumont signing here, it's basically Dumont, Martinek, Colliton, Bergenheim for Komisarek & Bonk. Not a bad trade.

which trade did he recently reported? He seems to have credibility but this trade sounds like a big wierd.

most of the time with trades he doesnt report them to us until he has seen it on another news outlet, ie. Fan 590

hes reported mostly signings ahead of anywhere else if seen.

he says like this team is in talks with this player and thease teams are in the running for this guy and so on.

whats the most interesting to hear about are the trades that dont happen.

The belief is this is to make room to sign JP Dumont.

And if you can beleive this......trade for Malkin. I know its been over the rumor mills, but this is a real live rumor, not something pulled out of thin air.

EDIT: FAN590 in Toronto is reporting this is a done deal pending medicals."
That's how. Malkin is going to be traded to Montreal after according to his 'source'.

It was rumored to be...

Ryder, Souray, Aebischer, 1st round pick for Malkin.

There is no way Pittsburgh trades Malkin. PERIOD.

no no no...

he says after a deal has fallen through what the deal would have been.

i guess he would be the "Mr. Obvious" to all hockey insiders.

Bergeinheim is a stud, but I would HATE to lose Komisarek. Ans I still hold hope onto Radek Bonk so a no from my part. Still: this trade is possible and I wouldn't be shock if it turn out true.
