it is hard learning to write french correctly, and at first speaking it, but eventually it gets easier, my problem now is that the only time i even bother to speak french is when im totally wasted, but thats only cause noone understands what i'm saying at that point any ways.

btw, congrats on learning the english language

You have to go to CEGEP first. You'll love it there, don't worry. Be sure to work hard tho. My gym teacher said to me: make your money first, then have your fun.... it's good advice!

High school grade 1-2-3-4-5 same for both
2 years of cegep stands for the 6th year in high school

But we can also do 3 years of cegep and become technicians ready to work in our fields.

So basically we're one year older when we finaly get to university !

elementary school: kindergarten (maternelle) to grade six
high school: grade 7 to grade 11
CEGEP: pre-university program: 2 years (to grade 13) then you go to university
technical program: 3 years (then you have a degree to enter the workforce)

Speaking it comes with practice. I used to be in the same situation you are in and practice takes you a long way in being able to speak it.

A bit late, but I just want to say that it's great that you post here. Over the years, I've seen lots of young francophones start posting here and improve their english drastically in a span of a few months. If you're out there and you're afraid to post because you don't think your english is good enough, you should really come out because this is a great place to improve it and talk about hockey.
