has the league already been set up? what i mean by that is, do we go to yahoo and sign up before this draft is completed, or after?

the only way to see the players stats and such is to sign up beforehard for a league i think, and i am not planning on signing up for any more in the near future.

anyone

Yes, but we still even don't know who will play and who will not.. Who registred just to be registred and who will play for sure ... It's the reason why I think about registration after draft because we can't delete team after draft like it was last season but yes, you are right about stats..

login to yahoo : fake_hfavs
pass : 111111

there is one league with our stats categories. use it to see stats.

Guys and girls we have a situation here. I made a little research and realised that we have Habs fan (newblood) and Pens fan (nightspore) here without any relationship with Avs. It was my bad, but anyway ... what will we do ? I'm not against Habs or Pens in any other situation but right now we have Roman Tunner, Bubba Thud, Peter Bondra, Pure and others who missed the league
FYI, exp-tex and Bubba Thud can't participate while Peter Bondra and Roman Tunner are next in list.

I believe this needs to be a fantasy league soley for Avs fans first. So IMO, these two need to be stricken from the league and replaced with the likes of RT, BT, PB Pure, etc...they need to be given first consideration. I don't want to sound like a hardliner, but since this was started on our board it is only appropriate to give our regulars first consideration. We know who is who...

BTW, I cannot log into the league with the info supplied.

MM

It's 1 am here and I have to wake up after 5 hours

Just checked that NewBlood created his league for Habs fans only at Montreal Board. He was here hour ago but didn't respond. I guess he is out and PeterBondra is in. Nightspore is out too. Roman Tunner will take his spot (he agrees) I guess you will understand me

Yeah, that's fine, It's just that when I first registred there were not a lot of people in so I gave my name. Have a nice pool.

I'm still in, but maybe it would have been easier to wait a few weeks and then do an auto-draft

No, I have the same feelings we have to many inactives and we are going too slow .. but there is good thing... we could have all of this during regular season with 3-4 lost teams

Anyway, I'm OK for every decision : live-draft, auto or continue offline

My stance was to always use AutoDraft...it's not the most popular choice, but with so many people here having different schedules, (I myself go to College from 7am-3pm and then work from 5pm-1am 5 days out of the week)...

I think we should stick with what we've already started, with the only changes being to let people out if they change their mind about being in the league. It's good to know who is actually going to be playing before we get the info to Yahoo!, because it's a bear to try to change things after the fact.

The pace of this draft is agonizing, but we have a ton of time before the season. I think it's more important that we actually control who's on our team -- in autodrafts I always feel like I took over someone's team. Someone with a different mindset and personality.

Maybe we should try 2 leagues (with small number of teams 8-10) with live draft (for those who can participate) and autopick (for those who can't) Anyway, it's only august and we have time to wait and see what happens here

I know we are going a bit slow, but I'm looking back now and can't even imagine how we drafted 200 players in one week

We just need to do a live draft where we can get abunch of folks to be around their computer simaltaneously. Those who can't make it get the auto picks.

It'll be intresting to see where Svatos goes in this draft...if he goes at all. At this point, I don't think any AVs have been drafted. Man, what is going on here.

I guess you are all playing for real and not being homers.

Was kinda tempting to take Sakic at 17 seeing as he was 17th overall in points last season but had to stick to a plan :p

If I can make a suggestion, for those people that missed their picks in Round 1 ....(IE: missing in action), we should expedite their time for next picks..

Horse house, Joey13, Avsfan101.....should get only an hour or 2 to show up.....

Just to speed things up a little...

Joey is here and he is regular at board, just bad luck I think.

I've thought the same about Avsfan 101. He wasn't here since 22-08 and I doubt anyone wants to wait 8 hours.

Horsehouse is off, he posted about it here. I sent invite to "Pure" (he missed registration, he posted here and said that he is interested and his team - JoeSakic4MVP was damn good team last year
