Montreal didn't miss Dumont, they had no room for him... Eklund is a clown... I won't tell you which kind of clown though.
It's rather safe to assume that many teams will be making moves in the next few weeks up until the beginning of the season. Training camp may have a few surprises for some teams (including us).
It also safe to assume something has to happen with our defence since we are losing half our d-corp by the end of the year but there is plenty of time for that yet.
Basically, I could have come up with that rumor myself.

I don't think he is. Wait were you using this word as a criticism of some kind ? I'm slow sometimes but I thought we'd moved beyond using orientation as a putdown. It could be me though.

I thought I saw it on Hockey Buzz before I saw it on Spectors. Guys, Eklund is reporting rumours not done deals. If there are rumours that a player is going to one of possibley four different teams... then at least three of those rumours can't come true.
If you don't like rumours then don't read them... I really don't see what the big deal is. And if anyone actually listened to Eklund in an interview, they would hardly call him a clown. Ah, but then there are so many who like to voice opinions based on almost no information. They just become part of mob mentality.

Definitely agree with sXe, dont take a high degree to come up with such a rumor.
Eklund however found a way of making it looks foolish by stating it's because the habs missed on Dumont... At 2.25M/year for 2 years, if the habs had true and HIGH interest in Dumont, he would be a habs right now...
