Unfortunately, to date, I'm the one Horcking-Back-the-Humble! But I still think the hockey gods will still look down kindly on Sean.
My confidence that won't happen is strong enough I would risk such a thing I want every Oiler to play well obviously, but do not see what some see in our favorite nickname recipient.

Only 3 and a bit hours to go....

Should be a good one, the Oilers are playing well and the Flames actually scored 6 goals and found some offense, then blew it against Nashville, I expect Sutter to have gotten all over them for that loss it shouldn't have happened, at least not like that. We were down 2-1 heading for the third and outshot Nashville 11-4 but got outscored 2-0, they gave that game away, it should have been at least close at the end.

Flames are a very well coached team and they play a solid system. Oilers lose unless the Flames lose their drive.

Great week-end.

An 8 o'clock Oiler game on CBC and a Grey Cup tomorrow.

I've tried to explain everything to my wife about the importance of "staying out of my face" from now 6:00 PM until the Grey Cup ends tomorrow. We'll see how that goes.....

I got a stack of movies for the 3 year old, so he's taken care of. The wife will likely take this "special week-end" as a green light to go buy something expensive.............that we have no need for.

But I won't care. The 15 year-old is gazing over at me like he even has enough nuts to ask me for car tonight.

It's gonna be a great week-end. I don't think the Oilers will let the Flames win yet a 3rd time this season. And it will be huge. HF will buzz.

4-2 Oilers.

Staios-Hemsky-Smyth-Horcoff

Iginla (2).

I'm going to say a 2-1 OT win for the Oil. Winner from Torres, Chimera will bang home the first for the Oil while Iggy will most likely be the goal scorer for Calgary.

1 hour to game time. I hope the Oilers don't come out flat. We can't let the Flames get any momentum.

Lets go Conklin!! He is going to have to play large tonight and give the boys some time to get their legs going.

Nice goal by York! 1-0

See Torres right in the mouth for a rebound? He was there in plenty of time.

He's gonna fill the net this season if he keeps playing this way.

OUCH!!

Horc got rung good.

I came in the room and seen him on the ice.

For all the posters riding him, we can't afford to lose another center.

I'm sure Winters is on the speed-dial already to see if Lowes reacted with a trade the minute after Horc went down the hallway.

Well Kev? Anything new?

There a gas leak in here or something?

Is this CBC announcer putting everyone asleep?

It's bloody tumbleweeds in here tonight for a game thread.

Lowetide came by and said hi on his way to the beer fridge, but other than that......I'm the only one on the bus....

Rammed his ass into the boards. Layed on the ice quite a while and just went to the room.

Tail bone bruise I'm guessing.

A few things:

Could someone tell Horcoff to take his skater guards off. I've never seen a player spend so much time on his ass.

Also, I'm sick of this team trying to be too cute. I don't give a crap if it's a 5-1 and even Conklin joins the rush. They have to shoot. I mean, Dvo, he's gotta take that shot. 3-1, you got way to much time to think.
