Who currently are your top three favorite prospects?

I know we voted to rank them, but who are your top 3 favorites? For the sake of this thread, players who have played for the big club since the start of the season (Malone, Koltsov, Orpik) are not considered prospects anymore.

My top three are Tomas Surovy, Patrik Bartschi and its a toss up between Noah Welch and Ross Lupaschuk. Its hard to pick just three favorites, as I also like Endicott, Sivek, Beech and Murley. But as I am hoping that we find someone who can score, I went for two players who are two of our best hopes as sniping and scoring prospects. I cannot wait to see Bartschi over here and see if he is every bit as good as I am reading. I am hoping that Surovy can stick this time with the big club. Its refreshing to hear that he is shooting a lot. Marty Straka should pay attention

As for my third choice, I am torn between Welch and Lupashcuk. I have seen Lupaschuk play for WB and saw the couple of games that he played with the big club last year, and he definitely has the talent to kickstart our PP and has a cannon for a shot too. He also does not pass up a shot either. As for Welch, everything I have read about him suggests he will be a solid NHL defenseman. On a unit like ours, he will definitely upgrade it. If we can fast forward a couple of years, our defensive unit could actually look capable of shutting down teams (of course, coaching permitting)

Other than the obvious high-profile guys like Whitney and all that, I'd go with Bartschi, Welch and Schneider. Honorable mentions to Carcillo and Moulson.

Eaves is a shade behind Schneider for my favorite 3. I should have mentioned him in my list as an honorable mention.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Eaves. There really aren't very many players that make it to the NHL at 5'8" and I'm not sure Eaves will be one of them.

What's the deal with Schneider?

You never hear much about him, why do a couple of you like him so much?

Welch and Surovy are definately my favorite prospects.

For the third spot, it would have to be a guy from this year: Filewich, Stone, or Carcillo.

No there arent, but those that do have incredible skill, speed and intangibles, which Eaves has in abundance. It will be difficult to overcome his size but for the teams sake lets hope he does. Time will tell, but I think he will be a 60 point guy some day.
